We’re all guilty of making excuses: “I don’t have the time,” “I can’t afford it,” “I’m too tied up with commitments.” But here’s a thought: if you don’t take that first step today, where will you be a year from now? Imagine having a year’s worth of experience under your belt if you choose to start today. It’s true that you’re practical and sensible, but remember, the stopwatch of life doesn’t pause for anyone. How many people will pass you by while you hesitate?
Ideas are fleeting; what’s relevant today might become obsolete tomorrow. Are you content with being a spectator, merely watching the show? Reflecting on my own life, I’ve pursued all the things I’ve yearned to do. As long as I’m passionate about something, I make it a point to convince my wife, who stands as my unwavering support system.
Now, a new idea has sprouted in our minds, albeit as a playful jest: “Let’s start a chicken rice business.” I can already envision my wife taking the reins of this venture, while I don the roles of cleaner and errand boy. Simultaneously, we’re exploring courses to upgrade our skills, contemplating the possibility of becoming hawker entrepreneurs.
